Sasha has teeth now

I thought I'd get some pictures of Sasha showing off her teeth. Yes, she finally got them. It's fine with me that she was a little late.

Here is Sasha playing with her newest toy. We pop them up and then she shuts them. She's getting very good at it.

Where do you find those cute toys? I want to get more interactive toys for Teagan where there are buttons, but I don't want to spend a ton of money. He just gets so bored with the toys he has now. They only entertain for like 15 seconds before he cries and want me to hold him. Can you tell I'm a little discouraged? I just don't know why he whines and cries so much...I'm going crazy! You have all the experience, what do you do with a restless whinny baby?

By the way, I love your posts and reading your blog! It always makes me smile!

Oh yeah, I was talking to my mom and she has a request. If you go into settings under email you just type in any email address and the blog automatically sends an email to that person anytime you post something new.

When she got the email about your new blog she asked if you could have the blog send her an email when you update. She loves seeing pictures of the kids...of course, who wouldn't. :) I'm sure you have her email. Thanks!

Hey Melissa,

Robert and Rebekah got that toy for Sasha when they came up to visit last. I'm sure that you can get that at any store. If you don't want to spend much money, you might start looking for something like that at garage sales. What to do with a whiny baby??? That's a hard one. I would make sure there isn't something that's bothering him (new teeth coming in, gas, hungry, etc.) and then maybe try to play games with him. If nothing works, let him whine a bit. If it's driving you crazy and you feel like you can't take anymore, put him in his bed where you know he's safe and step away. Sometimes that's all you can do, and he will be fine. I hope this helps. I don't really know what else to suggest. Good luck. It's probably just something he's going through and will get past soon.

Melissa,

I also just realized, is Teagan wanting to move more? I have noticed that Sasha gets frustruated because I think she wants to be crawling, but is still trying to figure it out. Anyway, just an idea.

I know his top teeth are coming in, but I didn't think babies got this fussy from teething. It has been the last 3-4 weeks so I just don't know. He does get mad when he can't move around. How often do you give Sasha solids? Maybe he isn't getting enough to eat (by looking at him that isn't the case, but who knows). Thanks for your advice.

It's fun. I'm actually starting to get a bit addicted.

How is she so big? Crazy! I am glad she is getting teeth--or maybe not glad if you are still nursing! I think the little teeth are so cute!
